Al-Met has worked closely with suppliers key customers in order to develop systems to ensure continuity of supply supporting customers manufacturing programmes. Excellent relations exist with material suppliers. Key manufacturing steels are held as bar stock.

Al-Met’s delivery programmes are continually reviewed and the commitment and capability exists in order to maintain delivery requirements and, when necessary, respond and support changes in customer MRP requirements.

Al-Met has worked with key customers in order to develop systems to ensure the continuity of supply of parts on regular call off. Consignment Stock Supply Agreements are available providing the potential of reduced manufacturing cost and next day despatch. 

Significant investment has been targeted on materials management with real time data capture for work in progress supporting an up to date business management system. The combination of production visibility and excellent customer communications has provided Al-Met with the capability to support and respond quickly to changes in customer delivery requirements.
