Further investment has been made in the purchase of a new Alpha 1460. This Semi CNC lathe will support the manufacture of the section producing one off’s and small batches. This high performance lathe will be providing improved product quality and provide additional capacity to a key section manufacturing complex components for Sub-Sea applications.

Al-Met makes a significant invesment in 2008 with the purchase of two new CNC grinding machines from J&S. This continues the strategy of investment in high precision grinding technology initiated in 2005 with the purchase of the first group of J&S CNC's.
